I am Frank Coutts. I am originally from the islands of Shetland in the north of Scotland where the little shaggy Shetland Ponies roam over barren hills.

I moved with my parents to live in Spain in April of 2007 when I was 11 years old. We didn’t go to the costas with its many British expat communities, though. We settled in rural Extremadura in southwest Spain, a place of considerable natural beauty where English is rarely spoken, where the people are friendly and helpful, and where the sun shines some 320 days a year.

I work with photography. I have already completed several distance learning photography courses through an English university, and I have gained a lot of experience photographing local events. I especially like to photograph musical acts.
